Terms of Service

The service

ChitraVault hosts private, invitation-only photo and video galleries. Access requires an invitation from a gallery administrator; using the service means you accept these terms and the Privacy Policy.

Your content stays yours

Uploaders retain all rights to their photos and videos. By uploading, you grant ChitraVault only the technical permissions needed to store, process (for example, creating browsing-sized copies), and deliver that content to the members the gallery administrator has authorized. We claim no other rights to your content.

Responsibilities

• Administrators control membership and permissions for their gallery, are responsible for having the right to share the content they upload, and for the people they invite.
• Members may use galleries only as personally invited — no sharing of access, no attempting to reach content beyond what was granted, no scraping or automated collection.
• Prohibited content: anything unlawful, infringing, or exploitative. We remove such content and terminate the related access when we become aware of it.

Activity recording

Member activity inside a gallery (views, plays, favorites, downloads) is recorded and visible to that gallery's administrators, as described in each gallery's activity notice and the Privacy Policy.

Availability and changes

ChitraVault is provided "as is", without warranty of uninterrupted availability. We keep backups and take care, but you should retain your own copies of irreplaceable originals. We may update the service and these terms; continued use after a change constitutes acceptance. Access may be suspended or ended for violations of these terms.

Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ChitraVault's liability for any claim related to the service is limited to the amount you paid for it in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
